About Bryant Park
Bryant Park is a botanical garden on the eastern side of Kodai Lake. It was started in 1908 by H. D. Bryant, a forest officer, and is named after him. Today it covers about 20 acres of terraced flower beds, lawns, old trees and a glasshouse full of plants.
The park is at its best in the spring and summer, when the beds are full of flowers, and it hosts Kodaikanal's flower show each May. It sits right next to the lake, so it is easy to combine with a boat ride or a walk along the shore.
