Best time to visit Phuket
Phuket is best in Winter, but each season has its own character. Here's what to expect, what to pack, and what shines — then build a day around it.
The monsoon decides the year in Phuket. It is not simply "bad weather": some of the best months sit either side of it, and the rains themselves are worth seeing if you accept that being outside for long is not the plan.
On weather alone, winter is the window — which is also when prices and crowds peak, so the shoulder weeks either side are usually the better trade, especially for the 7 spots below that reward an early start.
