October and November
The heat eases, the skies are clear and the season begins. Diwali usually falls in these months, and the city is lit up and busy with shoppers.

Days warm up again but are still comfortable for sightseeing. Holi and the start of Gangaur usually fall in March, and the first Karni Mata fair at Deshnoke comes with the Chaitra Navratri.
April to June
The hottest months, with midday temperatures often above 40 °C and dusty winds. If you visit, sightsee in the early morning and late afternoon, and rest indoors in the middle of the day.
July to September
The monsoon brings only light, irregular rain to Bikaner. It stays hot and can feel humid, but there are fewer visitors and hotel prices are lower.
When Is Bikaner Most Crowded?
Bikaner is busiest from December to January, especially during the Camel Festival and around Christmas and New Year. Rooms fill up early, so book well ahead. Deshnoke is extremely crowded during the two Navratri fairs.
