About Bhagsunag Waterfall
Bhagsunag Waterfall drops down a rocky gorge above Bhagsu village, about 2 km from McLeod Ganj. The path to it starts at the old Bhagsunag Temple, a Shiva temple with a spring-fed pool, and climbs gently past small cafés and shops to the foot of the falls.
The waterfall is at its fullest just after the monsoon, when it thunders down the rocks. In the dry months it is much thinner, but the walk is still pleasant. It is an easy half-day outing from McLeod Ganj, and you can combine it with the cafés of Bhagsu or a walk up to Dharamkot.
