Allow extra time for Hanuman Dandi, which is about 5 km from the main temples.

About Bet Dwarka
Bet Dwarka, also spelt Beyt Dwarka, is a small island in the Gulf of Kutch, just off the port of Okha and about 30 km north of Dwarka town. Hindus believe it was Krishna's home, and pilgrims come for its Krishna temples: the island's Dwarkadhish temple and the Shri Keshavraiji Temple stand close together, about 1 km from the jetty, while Hanuman Dandi, one of the few temples where Hanuman is worshipped with his son Makardhwaja, is about 5 km away. Archaeologists have also found pottery, seals and traces of very old settlements on and around the island.
For generations the only way across was a short boat ride from Okha. Since February 2024, the Sudarshan Setu, a 2.3 km cable-stayed bridge with shaded footpaths on both sides, has linked the island to the mainland, so cars, buses and tour vans now drive straight across. The island is ringed with sandy beaches and turquoise water, and most visitors see it on a half-day trip from Dwarka with Nageshwar Jyotirlinga and Gopi Talav.
