Best time to visit Gokarna
The best time to visit Gokarna is from October to March, when the weather is warm and dry, the sea is calmer and the beach cafés are open. This is the best season for the cliff walk between the beaches and for sunsets on Kudle and Om.
April and May are hot and humid, and from June to September the monsoon brings very heavy rain and rough seas. Swimming is off-limits then and many beach cafés close, but the town and the temple stay open and the hills turn green.
