Save some energy for the long climb back up the steps.

Keep away from the main force of the water, especially after rain.

About Bee Falls

Bee Falls, also called Jamuna Prapat, is Pachmarhi's best-known waterfall, about 5 km from the bus stand. A forest stream drops over the rocks into a pool surrounded by trees, and the name comes from the humming sound of the water, which from a distance is said to sound like bees. The stream is also a source of drinking water for Pachmarhi.

The falls are on the waterfall route that many Gypsy trips cover along with Apsara Vihar and Rajat Prapat (Silver Falls). From the drop-off point, a long flight of steps leads down through the forest to the pool, and the climb back up takes effort. It is one of the busiest spots in Pachmarhi, especially on weekends and holidays.
