Best time to visit Toledo
Toledo is best in Spring & Autumn, but each season has its own character. Here's what to expect, what to pack, and what shines — then build a day around it.
Toledo splits cleanly into a comfortable half of the year and a punishing one. The gap between them is wide enough that the same itinerary is a pleasure in one and barely doable in the other.
On weather alone, spring and autumn is the window — which is also when prices and crowds peak, so the shoulder weeks either side are usually the better trade, especially for the 8 spots below that reward an early start.
The other half of the question is the calendar: Corpus Christi (A Thursday in late May or June — the date moves with Easter) and Semana Santa in Toledo (March–April (Holy Week)). Those weeks are the most alive Toledo gets and the hardest to get a room in — worth planning towards or around, but not worth discovering after you have booked.
