JTDC Prabhat Vihar
The state tourism lodge's restaurant is the most dependable place to eat on the plateau. It serves Jharkhandi thalis, litti chokha and standard North Indian dishes. Its grounds also hold one of Netarhat's sunrise viewpoints, so breakfast here after dawn is convenient. It is handy for Magnolia Sunset Point as well. Book meals in advance if you are not staying.
Netarhat Dhaba
A simple local dhaba for dhuska in the morning, litti chokha, and filling plateau meals. Tables are basic and service is quick. It is a good stop on the way back from a sunrise at Koel View Point.
Forest View Restaurant
A vegetarian kitchen for Jharkhandi thalis and, in the early monsoon, rugra mushrooms. It is close to Upper Ghaghri Falls, so it works for lunch between the falls and the dam.
Sunset Café
A small café for tea, thekua, dhuska and light snacks. It is useful for a hot drink before or after sunset and near Netarhat Dam.
